Øyvind primarily works with legal issues related to large construction and civil engineering projects. He works both strategically and operationally with tendering and contract drafting, design and drafting and material and service procurement for construction projects, as well as ongoing contract follow up. His experience with following up contracts in close concert with project managers and senior management contributes to more successful procurement processes.
Øyvind has extensive experience in negotiation, both in negotiating contract terms, in settling disputes and negotiating changes during the construction period, and in negotiating questions that arise in connection with final settlement after completion of the project. His practical experience with project and contract management has taught him much about not only solving disputes, but avoiding them in the first place.
Øyvind regularly holds courses, lectures and workshops on procurement, construction law and project management.
